Job Description
As part of the Chassis Upfit Team this individual will:
· Upfitting vocational vacuum trucks and truck chassis
· Layout, fit and weld subassemblies, components and equipment according to specifications
· Welding and fabrication required, mild steel, stainless and aluminum
· Brake press and shear experience required
· Mechanical aptitude required
· Layout and build, Frame mount brackets, water pump systems, drive systems, electrical components (12v systems), hydraulics, and pneumatics.
· Repair work and troubleshooting also required
Skills the ideal candidate has include:
· Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment considered an asset
· Previous welding experience
· High attention to detail
· Previous experience working with hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems considered an asset.
